She was predeceased by: her parents, Roman Westgerdes and Magdalena "Lena" Westgerdes; her sister Mary "Jean" Schneble; her brother-in-law Theodore "Ted" Schneble; and her daughter-in-law Stephanie Resetar.

She is survived by: her husband Peter; her children, David Resetar, Daniel Resetar (Amy), Joyce Abbott (Bruce) and Michael Resetar; her grandchildren, Christopher Resetar (Teresa Dierks), Andrew Resetar (Haleigh), Caroline Resetar, Emily Gibson (Chris), Timothy Abbott, Annie Resetar and Megan Resetar; her great grandchild Benjamin Gibson; her siblings, James "Jim" Westgerdes (Charlene) and Judy Whetstone (Mike); and her sisters-in-law, Cathy Lee and Dorothy. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
