We are sad to announce that on December 19, 2023, at the age of 63, John Kevin Hallisey of Ellicott City, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John G. Hallisey and Mary M. Hallisey; and his siblings, Michael and Maryanne Hodges. He is survived by : his son Jonah (Cecile Sorra); his siblings, Brian (Beverly), Peter (Kathy), Peggy Hallisey (Mark West), Kathy Pickard (Randy Pickard) and Judy Hallisey (Michael Fine); his parents-in-law, Tony, Loly Sorra and Dominga "Tita" Sorra; his siblings-in-law, Grace, Buddy Bresnick, Rene, Joann Sorra, Cathy, Guy Talerico, Joselina, Joe Dichoso, Jim Sorra, Mary Ann Sorra and Jack Reybold; his godson John Burbank; and his brother-in-law Butch Sorra. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, grandnieces.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Missionaries of Charity Gift of Hope House in Baltimore (via check) or Christ in the Desert Monastery in Abiquiu, NM.
