It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Francis Anton (Ellicott City, Maryland), who passed away on July 26, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Anton and Marie Sauter. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Anton; his brother Andrew Anton; his daughters, Jennifer LaHart, Kathleen Batt and Amanda Batzold; his grandchildren, Jacob, Avery, Lily LaHart, Grayson, Wyatt, McKinley Batt, Tucker and Lucy Batzold; and his sons-in-law, Andrew LaHart and Timothy Batt.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harry H. Witzke's Family Funeral Home (4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Angels Catholic Church (711 Maiden Choice Ln, Catonsville, MD 21228). A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the New Cathedral Cemetery (4300 Old Frederick Rd, Baltimore, MD 21229).
