She was predeceased by: her parents, Giles Riesner, Sr. and Mary Riesner (Sturm); her husband Barry Powell; her son Eric Powell; and her siblings, Linda Gilbert (Riesner) and Robert Riesner.
She is survived by: her daughter Kristen Monteleone (Michael) of Covington, LA; her stepchildren, Jeffrey Powell (Geri) of Leesburg, VA, Penni Powell of Bel Air, MD and Sharon Powell of Hanover, MD; her siblings, Giles Riesner, Jr. of Catonsville, MD and Mary Jane Mannion (Riesner) of Bel Air, MD; and her friends, Carolyn Leuba, Ella Kostinsky, Kathy Morley, Pam Blumberg and Robin Meadows. She is also survived by five grandsons; three great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
