He was predeceased by: his parents, James Thomas Reed Jr. and Elsie Elizabeth McKinzie; and his significant other Gloria Jean Piper. He is survived by: his children, Robert, Jr. (Crissy), David, Vicki Herlihy and Bonnie Corsi (Mark); his grandchildren, Brennan, Justin, Katie (Loughlin), Eric, Kevin, Gregory (Corsi), Liam (Herlihy) and Dominic (Corsi); and his great grandchildren, Kinsley, Stella, Everley, Oliver, Aidan, Elliot and Isabelle. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Hilton Funeral Home (22111 Beallsville Rd, Barnesville, MD 20838). A funeral service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at the Monocacy Cemetery (19801 W Hunter Rd, Beallsville, MD 20839).
