With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Emanuel (Ellicott City, Maryland), born in Iowa City, Iowa, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 30, 2025 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Emanuel and Elizabeth Emanuel; his brother William A. Emanuel; and his brother-in-law Harry Jasperson. He is survived by: his wife Elinor Nolde Emanuel; his daughters, Christine Emanuel and Katherine Elise Phillips; his sister Joan Jasperson; his siblings-in-law, Joan Emanuel, George, Deane Nolde, James and Janell Nolde; and his grandchildren, Preston, Finn, Lulu, Annie, Danny, Declan and Parker.
Viewing was held on Friday, November 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Harry H Witzke Family Funeral Home (4112 Old Columbia Pike, Ellicott City, MD 21043). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church (929 Ingleside Ave, Catonsville, MD 21228).
