She is survived by : her husband Dr. Ramesh Sabapathi; her sons, Prashant (Alyssa) and Praveen (Kelly); her mother Leela Ramdas; and her siblings, Shakuntala Nayak, Upendra Pai and Sheela Adige. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
