George Thomas Wilhide Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of George Thomas Wilhide of Emmitsburg, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 1, 2026 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lewis Wilhide and Margaret Elizabeth Wilhide (Watkins) of Emmitsburg; and his brothers, Stephen D. Wilhide and David A. Wilhide. He is survived by: his sister Elizabeth K. Tanner (Wilhide) of Towson, Maryland; his nieces and nephews, Brian D. Wilhide (Marian Joy Wilhide), Michael Wilhide (Esel B. Wilhide), Edward J. Tanner (Kristi A. Gabriel), Heather E. Tanner (Peter F. Hill) and Melissa A. Tanner (Dustin D. Meeker); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Quinton T. Meeker, Camden J. Meeker, Adelyn G. Hill and Tanner B. Hill.
