She was predeceased by: her sons, Anthony "Tony" and William "Gene" Martin; and her siblings, Robert, John, Joseph, James, Francis, William and Margaret "Dolores" Henke.
She is survived by: her son Dennis "Denny"; her daughter-in-law Carol; her son Bruce; her brothers, Donald "Don" and Michael "Mike" Joy; her grandchildren, Robin M. Dowling and Cory M. Martin; her great grandchildren, Jordan, Collin Dowling and Kaylee Martin; her nephew Dr. Robert J. Henke Jr. (Kathy Staub); and her friends, Shannon Boyle and Debbie Hobbs. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 28th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home (210 W Main St, Emmitsburg, MD 21727). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (47 Depaul St, Emmitsburg, MD 21727).
