It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Louise Allis of Emmitsburg, Maryland, born in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerald F. Ryder and Merlene Ryder (Rightnour). She is survived by: her sons, Benjamin Allis of Emmitsburg and Kevin Allis; her girlfriend Becky Aulthouse of Taneytown; and her brothers, David Ryder (Valerie) of Littlestown, PA, Michael of Emmitsburg, Stephen of Emmitsburg, Dennis of Emmitsburg and James Ryder of Emmitsburg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
