He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Francis and Carrie Eva Stouter (Turner); his siblings, Wilbur Stouter (Grace), Robert Stouter (Francis) and Ruby Hurley (Harold); and his siblings-in-law, Bonnie Kint and Jerry Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Stouter (Kint); his children, Tracy Miller (Robert) and Robert Stouter, Sr. (Mary) of Emmitsburg; his grandchildren, Robert Miller (Robby) of Roanoke, VA, Cordell Miller (Bo) of Waynesboro, PA, Christina Wisz (Charlie) of Smithsburg, MD, Anna Willette (Sean) of Nikiski, Robert Stouter, Jr. (Resa) of Williamsport, PA and Andrea Laster of Waynesboro; his great grandchildren, Anthony, Genie, Evelyn, Leonna, Addy, Emma and Poppy; and his sister-in-law Betty Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home (210 W Main St, Emmitsburg, MD 21727). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Friends Creek Church of God (7650 Friends Creek Rd, Emmitsburg, MD 21727).
