It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William Frederick Bush (Emmitsburg, Maryland), born in Syracuse, New York, who passed away on September 21, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Carole Ann Bush; his parents, Helen E Bush (Burgun) and William (Bush); his brother Joseph R Young; and his daughter Bonnie L Bush-Schaffer.
He is survived by: his sons, William (Betty Bush) and Scott (Cassandra Bush); his grandchildren, Michael, Brendan, Ashleigh (Justin), Jacob, William, Gwendolyn and Elliott; his son-in-law James Schaffer; and his sister-in-law Beverly Wolford. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Anthony Shrine (16150 St Anthony Rd, Emmitsburg, MD 21727). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
