She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward William George and Bessie Autumn George (Hall); her husband Dennis R. Shirk, Sr.; and her siblings, Paul Victor George, Wayne George, Rocky George and Nancy Self.
She is survived by: her children, Dana Jackson (Evans) of St. Pauls, NC, Dennis Shirk, Jr. (Katie) of Canandaigua, NY and Derek Shirk of Rosedale, MD; her grandchildren, Megan Willis of St. Pauls, NC, Jordan Ketterman of Rough Run, WV, Dennis Shirk III of Canandaigua, NY and Ryan Shirk of Canandaigua, NY; and her sisters, Shirley Ebarb of Petersburg, WV and Margie Self of Winchester, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
