We announce the death of JoAnn Nemec (Essex, Maryland), who passed away on October 15, 2026, at the age of 79. JoAnn will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her siblings, Charles, Thomas, Oneil, Eugene, Kenneth, Billy, Blair, Eva J and Evelyn.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Nemec; her daughters, Dawn McBride (Brian) and Mandy Collins (Nick); her grandson Ethan Collins; her sibling Jackie Wilson; and her nibling Billie Thompson.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bruzdzinski Funeral Home (1407 Old Eastern Ave, Essex, MD 21221). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Oaklawn Cemetery (7225 Eastern Ave, Baltimore, MD 21224).
