He was predeceased by: his parents, William Byard and Ruth Byard; Joseph, Kathy and Bill "Wumpy".
He is survived by: his wife Dawn M. Byard; his children, Ashley Byard and Owen Byard (Jessica Reynolds); his grandchildren, Greyson Allowatt, Carson Byard, Kinsleigh Allowatt and Evelyn Byard; his siblings, Peggy (George), Darlene (Ronnie), Dottie (Bernie), Kim (Bob), Casey (Andy) and Tina (Joe); his mother-in-law Sue; and his friends, Vicky, Bert Thoms, John and Cassandra Riggle. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to be made towards a college fund for the grandchildren in John's honor.
