We are sad to announce that, on August 1, 2025, at the age of 88, Joan Knight of Fairplay, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert D. Holbruner and Clara C. Holbruner (Otzelberger); her husband Floris Knight; and her sons, Cregory Knight (Creg) and Joel Knight.
She is survived by: her daughter Carol Sowers (Rick); her daughters-in-law, Carol Knight and Patty Knight; her grandchildren, Nanette Horst (Brian), Michele Harp (James), Daniele Sowers, Nathanael Sowers, Dustin Knight and Kami Sykes (Jim); her great grandchildren, Rebekah Kelly (Jeremy), Isaiah Horst, Jeremiah Horst, Brianna Harp, Jedidiah Harp, Hailey Harp, Jimmy Harp, Judah Harp, Joshua Harp, Malachi Harp, Asher Sowers and Marayah McEntee; her great great grandchildren, Abigail Kelly and Naomi Kelly; her siblings, Joy Sandy, Lois Dawson (Jim) and Robert Holbruner (Sue); Quintin Haworth. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
