We announce the death of Art Romain Sr. of Fallston, Maryland, who passed away on September 5, 2026, at the age of 78. Art will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Nester Romain and Mary Bernadette Romain (Tiano). He is survived by: his wife Diane Romain; his sister Dr. Nancy Backus; his sons, Raymond Romain and Thomas Romain; and his grandchildren, Jackson Romain, Bradley Romain, Alex Curry and Ryan Curry. He is also survived by extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Abingdon-McComas Family Funeral Homes (1317 Cokesbury Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
