He was predeceased by: his father Charles Pittinger; his wife Joyce Pittinger; his son Arthur Pittinger (Craig); and his siblings, Boone, Frank, Jim, Marion and Roland Pittinger.
He is survived by: his children, Thomas Pittinger (Donna) of Fallston and Janice Pittinger of Lilly, PA; and his sisters, Edna Martin of Bellevue, NE and Jeannie Hazlett (Herman) of Owings Mills.
