With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gloria Jean Harwood of Fallston, Maryland, who passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Channing Powell Harwood, Jr.; her children, Kimberly White (Michael), Kristine Vogt (Steven) and Channing P. Harwood, III (Sara); her grandchildren, Zachary, Breanna, Nicholas White, Jordan, Megan Vogt, Emma, Kate and Jane Harwood; and her great grandchild Loretta Vogt.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air (610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Highview Memorial Gardens (3433 Fallston Rd, Fallston, MD 21047).
