He was predeceased by: his parents, John Miles, Sr. and Bernadine Miles (Heying); and his sister Jean Welsh. He is survived by: his spouse DeSales Miles; his children, Frances (Mike), Shelley (TJ), Jay (Michelle), Stephanie (Dave) and David; his grandchildren, Tommy, Michael, Tyler (Erin), Ryan (Nicole) and Christopher (Emma); and his great grandchildren, Liana, Sloane, Kiran and Rowan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
