She was predeceased by: her parents, John Joseph Ilgenfritz and Marie Helen Ilgenfritz (Buettner); her husband Donald L. McGill; and her siblings, John Ilgenfritz and Marie Leek.
She is survived by: her children, Lynn Masterson, Patrick McGill (Patricia), Michael McGill (Donna), Shawn McGill (Carol) and Kelly McGill (Geri); and her sisters, Bernadette McCarty and Carol Stripling. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great‑grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at 1114 Baldwin Mill Rd, Jarrettsville, MD 21084. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mark Catholic Church (2407 Laurel Brook Rd, Fallston, MD 21047). A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at the Highview Memorial Gardens (3433 Fallston Rd, Fallston, MD 21047).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org), a cause close to her heart.
