He was predeceased by: his parents, Merel Theodore Meyer and Viola Mary Meyer (Kiesel); and his siblings, Terry Meyer and Marlene Meyer. He is survived by: his wife Vincine Sharon Meyer; his son Ray "Chance" Butler (Mary); his grandchildren, Brittnee Butler (Caitlyn), Juliann Butler and Stephanie Schultz; his great grandchildren, Iris Butler, Shaun Butler, Katiri Swann and Joseph Schultz-Schuester; and his brother Randy Meyer. He is also survived by his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Merel's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or Shriner's Children's Hospital.
