He was predeceased by: his wife Miriam Butcher Dyer; and his siblings, Paul Dyer, Hazel Nevling, Pearl Dyer, Audrey McClung, Mabel Hutchinson, Dorothy Kobrin and Rose Elmer.
He is survived by: his children, Patrick Dyer (Beverly) of Federalsburg and Jennifer Baker (Douglas) of Willards; his grandchildren, Rachel Breeding (Travis), Taylor Sturgill (Jonathan), Colin Baker and Conner Baker; and his great grandchildren, Trenton, Trace, Rilyn, Holly, Hayven and Alice.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Framptom Funeral Home (216 N Main St, Federalsburg, MD 21632). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in his memory to Colonel Richardson High School, Attn.
