She is survived by: her brother Maurice Stanford of Federalsburg, MD; her children, Brenda Briggs of Seaford, Delaware, Kenneth Briggs (Francine) of Denton, Michael Briggs (Janine) of Laurel and John Briggs (Chris) of Denton, Maryland; her grandchildren, Tara Briggs (Sam) of Laurel, Kendra Briggs of Laurel, Cleonda Thompson of Denton, Samantha Briggs (Randy) of Laurel, Nicole Demby (Eric) of Dumfries, Michael Eddy (Tamika) of Eden, Mikeeha Briggs of Salisbury and Desmond Briggs (Shannon) of Waynesboro, Virginia; her cousin Barbra Cook; and her niece Lorraine Troy. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren.
