He was predeceased by: his parents, Aubrey Leon Dungan and Alma Dungan (Woody); his daughter Melinda Carol Dungan; his brothers, James W. Dungan and Aubrey Leon Dungan, Jr.; and his son-in-law Mark Jones.
He is survived by: his wife Rosetta Sue Dungan (Deisher); his daughters, Catherine Dungan Jones, Cheryl Dungan Leonardi and Sue Ellen Lau (Howard "Ross"); his sister Nancy Hart; his grandchildren, Jeffrey Ross Lau, Melinda Ashley Dean, Matthew Jacob Lau, Grahm Dungan Jones and Shannon Lindsy Jones; and his great grandchildren, Audrey, Emma, Austin, Ava, Savannah and Adaline.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Haight Funeral Home & Chapel (6416 Sykesville Rd, Eldersburg, MD 21784). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eversole Cemetery Eversole Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The National Downs Syndrome Society, The Children's Heart Foundation, or Messiah Lutheran Church.
