It is with great sadness that we announce the death of JoAnn DeVito Stewart of Finksburg, Maryland, who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George DeVito and Nellie DeVito; her husband Donald Frank Stewart; her sister Angie (Mario Martirone); her brother-in-law Victor Vergulti; and her stepson Keith Dozier.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Flynn (Gloria) of Moline, IL and Michele Bailey (James) of Harrisburg, PA; her stepdaughter Robyn Dozier of Duck, NC; her grandsons, Kody Flynn (Kristen) of Moline, IL and Aidan Anderson of Westminster; and her sister Theresa Vergulti of Northfield, NJ.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel (412 Washington Rd, Westminster, MD 21157). A funeral service will be held on Monday, August 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery (13801 Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20906).
