John Royston Rash Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Royston Rash of Finksburg, Maryland, who passed away on May 23, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis E. Rash and Alice Bossom Rash; his wife Thelma Lee Walker Rash; and his brothers, Ivan and Edwin Rash.
He is survived by: his sons, John Steven Rash, Galen Keith Rash (Ramona) and Craig Timothy Rash (Waeodao); and his siblings, Glenn, Claude Rash and Esther Mercer. He is also survived by seven grandchildren, four great granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Jeffrey N. Zumbrun Funeral Home (6028 Sykesville Rd, Eldersburg, MD 21784). A graveside service was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Evergreen Memorial Gardens (2800 Old Westminster Pike, Finksburg, MD 21048).
