Joyce Marie Sheldon Obituary

In loving memory of Joyce Marie Sheldon of Finksburg, Maryland, who departed this world on October 15, 2025 at the age of 88. Joyce leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Austin Heverin Jones and Virginia Pauline Jones (Wardell); her husband Charles Sheldon; her siblings, Marie MacDougal, Sis Hendrick, Francis Jones and William Wharton; her aunt Bessie Wharton; and her uncle Dolph Wharton.

She is survived by: her sons, Jeff Sheldon and Randy Sheldon; her grandsons, Matthew Sheldon and Mark Sheldon; and her sister Beverly Lennox. She is also survived by her family, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Trinity United Methodist Church (450 3rd St, Chesapeake City, MD 21915). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 at the Bethel Cemetery (312 Bethel Cemetery Rd, Chesapeake City, MD 21915).
