He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Joseph Lee Wallizer, Sr. and Edna Marie (Weimer) Wallizer; wife: Doris Wallizer; children: Donald Patrick Wallizer, Jr. (Donna), Richard Allen Wallizer, Molly Harnish (Doug), and Rebecca Eader (Jason); step-daughters: Phyllis Fogle (Harold), Sandy Clingerman (Roy), and Lana Heavner (Mark); grandchildren: Bryant Wallizer (Morgan), Devan Pence (Justin), Danny Kesner, Cody Harnish (Bailey), Andrew Norris (Danielle), Rachel Norris (Josh), Ethan Eader (Chloe), Emily Eader (Logan), Joseph Clingerman, Jeremy Heavner, Adam Heavner (Katie), and Katie Heavner; brothers: Joseph Wallizer, Jr., Russell Wallizer, and Vernon Wallizer; sisters: Margaret Warren, Helen Stotler, and Carol Diehl; other: George W. Bush, Pastors Chuck Stotler and Tim York; and 15 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Adams Family Funeral Home (404 Decatur St, Cumberland, MD 21502). A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 3rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
