She was predeceased by : her parents, Chester Cecil Benson and Lottie Isabell Benson Erickson (Bishop); and her husband Elmer L. Smith. She is survived by : her daughter Myrna Blakey (Aldon); her grandchildren, Benjamin Blakey (Grace), John Blakey (Julia) and Isabell Evans (Jacob); her great grandchild Evelynn; and her brother Carl "Pug" Benson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
