He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond May and Gladys May (Lawrence); his son Donald Bradley May; his grandson Daniel Aaron May; his siblings, Herbert May (Helen) and Betty Adams (Palmer); and his brothers-in-law, Gerald Schade and Joseph Byrnes.
He is survived by: his wife Donna F. May (Imes); his daughter Rhonda Twigg (Alec) of Flintstone; his grandchildren, Brad Mullenax (Katrina) of Flintstone, Vanessa Whysong (Greg) of Fishertown, PA and Tyler Twigg (Heather Snyder) of Frostburg; his great grandchildren, Blake, Mason Mullenax, Ethan Whysong (Alexa) of Osterberg, Dylan, Brielle Whysong and Aubrey Twigg; his sisters-in-law, Twila Schade of Cumberland and Ardith Byrnes of Rockville; his cousin Sandra Wachter of Cumberland; his pet Smokey; Sherrie Dever of Frostburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, close friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Scarpelli Funeral Home (108 Virginia Ave, Cumberland, MD 21502). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 5:30 PM at the same location.
