She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther Lee McLaughlin and Monta Lee McLaughlin; her spouse Alpha D. Mahaffey; and her siblings, Joseph McLaughlin, Garland McLaughlin and Leta Helmick.
She is survived by: her children, David Mahaffey (Helen), Margaret Tumolo and Nancy Pence; her granddaughters, Kristy Anderson, Alisha Caruso and Katie Ryan; and her great grandchildren, Danica Anderson, Kinsley Ryan and Lilliana Ryan.
