We are sad to announce that, on October 17, 2025, at the age of 84, Jane Elizabeth Shumate of Forest Hill, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Ferguson and Eleanor Merryman (Smith); and her husband Robert Edward Shumate. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Shumate and Karen Kiebler; her grandchildren, Wayne Kiebler and Karrinne Kiebler (Bradley Trieschman); her great grandchildren, Cooper Trieschman and Carter Trieschman; and her siblings, Doris Shumate, George Ferguson, Robert Ferguson, Charles Ferguson and Richard Merryman, Jr..
