He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick Leiss and Mertha Leiss (Hall); and his son Timothy Leiss. He is survived by: his wife Linda Mae Leiss (Thomas); his sons, Jeffrey Leiss (Dayna) and Kerby Leiss (Maureen); his grandchildren, Jory Leiss (Cristen), Cree Thompson (Oliver), Jamison Leiss (Brianna), Jefferson Leiss (Sabrina), Benjamin Leiss (Erin) and Parker Leiss (Gabi); and his great grandchildren, Lennon, Maren, Rory, Hudson, Jackson, Olivia and Noah.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (1100 Philadelphia Rd, Joppatowne, MD 21085). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at the Trinity Lutheran Church Cemetery (1100 Philadelphia Rd, Joppatowne, MD 21085).
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a local cancer organization in honor of his late son, Timothy.
