He is survived by: his wife Linda Mae Leiss (Thomas); his sons, Jeffrey Leiss (Dayna) and Kerby Leiss (Maureen); his grandchildren, Jory Leiss (Cristen), Cree Thompson (Oliver), Jamison Leiss (Brianna), Jefferson Leiss (Sabrina), Benjamin Leiss (Erin) and Parker Leiss (Gabi); and his great grandchildren, Lennon, Maren, Rory, Hudson, Jackson, Olivia and Noah.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a local cancer organization in honor of his late son, Timothy.
