With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Mildred Virginia Wyatt of Forest Hill, Maryland, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parent Thomas H. Walkup; her grandmother Daisy Crane (Carney); her husband James Fred Wyatt; and her sisters, Lenore Walkup, Tula Aye (Raymond Walkup), Mescale Goodman (Garland Walkup), Nannie Kenney (Theodore Hanson) and Mary Knopp.
She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Ruger (John), Darlene Blevins (Dale) and Vickey Shatley (late Doug); and her grandchildren, Denise Truslow (Irving), Diana Hubley (Steven), Dorine Chew (Bryan), Doug Shatley (Tonya), Dana Blevins, David Shatley (Becky), Alisha Jobe (Darrin) and Matthew Shatley. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Baptist View Church (2718 Sharon Rd, Jarrettsville, MD 21084).
