Washington, MD, James Slater Jr. (LaShonia) of Woodbridge, VA, Monique Slater of Oxon Hill, MD and Michelle Owens of Baltimore, MD.; her siblings, Lula Mack of Kannapolis, NC, Linda Starnes (William) of Charlotte, NC, Brenda Steele of Harrisburg, NC, Drucella Smith (James) of Concord, NC, Sureva Grier (Van) of Greensboro, NC, Vernon Pharr of Kannapolis, NC, Alonzo Steele of Concord, NC, Larry Steele (Shirley) of Ft. Washington, MD, Charlie Steele Jr. of Lexington Park, MD and Dennis Steele of Washington, DC.; and her friends, Marlene Thomas and Brenda Ray. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
