She is survived by: her children, Gwendolyn Oinetté Pleasant and David Quintin McElveen; her granddaughters, Kate Elizabeth Pleasant (Lakisha Hemsley), Karyn Eileen Pleasant, Krysten Pleasant Lamb (Jonathan Lamb), Kelley Erin Pleasant (Malaika Price) and Kendra Enid Pleasant; her great grandchildren, James Oliver IV, Amaya Dominique, Roger Isaiah, Joi Katherine and Bryson Mack; her son-in-law James Keith Pleasant (Eileen); and her siblings-in-law, Wesley McElveen (Essie), Rosa Jo McWhite, Elizabeth Swilley, Erma Swilley and Hines. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, godchildren, cousins, extended family, friends.
