She was predeceased by: her parents, Edith Louise and William "Bill" Dodson; and her son Anthony "Tony" Allen. She is survived by: her husband George Thomas Turner; her children, Steven (Veronica) and Ericka (Rico); her granddaughters, Victoria and Valerie; and her sister Jacquelyn Stewart. She is also survived by family members and dear friends.

Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heart Church (4949 Allentown Rd, Camp Springs, MD 20746). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at the Fort Lincoln Cemetery (3401 Bladensburg Rd NE, Brentwood, MD 20722).
