It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Lucille Lee of Fort Washington, Maryland, who passed away on March 24, 2026, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Johnson and Lucille May Chambers (Johnson); her half-sister Sandra Denise Wilson; and her cousin Patricia Joyce Jackson-Washington. She is survived by: her children, James E. Lee, Jr. (Valerie) and LaVerne Lucille West (Vaughn); her grandchildren, Victor West (Lauryn), JaQuetta Jordan (Stacey), Markita West, James Lee, Fredrick Lee (Kerry) and Kelci Faraci (Matthew); her cousin Maryann Delores Jackson-Woods; her friends, Esther Hodges and Janice Meadows; and her boyfriend Everett Hill. She is also survived by 16 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
