He is survived by: his children, Phoebe Jane Hurlburt and John Wesley Hurlburt; his adoptive child Lynsey Hurlburt; his brother James Hurlburt; his sister-in-law Gail Hurlburt of Hasbrouck Heights, N. J.; and his sister Martha Jane Hurlburt Salter (England) of Chertsey. He is also survived by several cousins and many nieces and nephews.
