He was predeceased by: his parents, O. J. Williams and Mamie Verdell Edwards Williams; and his brother Clifford. He is survived by: his father-in-law Cleveland Waters; his close friends, Alphonso LaBorde and Dan Montegue; his wife Marilyn Watts Williams; his daughters, Stephanie Williams, Leslie Williams Newman (Erik), Shelly Gray and Tracy Williams; his grandchildren, Jordan Williams (Rebecca), Sidney Gray and Madison Gray; his sister Carolyn Terry (George); his sister-in-law Suzanne Probst; his aunt Doris Edwards (Henry); and his cousin Juanita Chase (Paul). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Forest Heights Baptist Church (6371 Oxon Hill Rd, Oxon Hill, MD 20745).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in his memory to Central State University, Class of 1966.
