She is survived by: her fiancé Ricky Layer; her daughter Michelle Bowens; her siblings, Shirlene and Donald Bowens; her half-brothers, William Jackson (Maria) and James Jackson (Lynn); her nephew Corray Bowens; her grandchildren, Octavia and Dallas (Taylor); her great grandchildren, Aaliyah, Avayah, Dakota, Elijah, Ezra, Javion and Aubry; her friends, Vivian Williams, Loretta Patterson, Lucille "Honey" Bowie, Cheryl Brown, Shelby Burton, Pat Smith and Sonja Boyer; her cousins, Carolyn Bowens and Frederica Bowens; her siblings' children, Rex Bowens, Jr. (Tameka), Thomas Naylor III, Michael Snowden Jr., Govin Diggs and Cheyenne Naylor; her uncles, Herman "Joe" Bowens (Charlene), Melvin "Butch" Boyce (Savannah) and John "Bing" Boyce, Sr.; and her aunt Mary "Wootsie" Temple. She is also survived by her fiancée's children, grandchildren.
