She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Hackey, and Virginia Fredericks Hackey, Sr.; her husband Charles Duvall, Sr.; her family, Paul and Dorothy Bowie; her son Charles "Junebug" Duvall, Jr.; and her siblings, Paul, Ernest, Donald, Clarence, Grace, Gladice, Margaret, Violet, Minnie and Jenny.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Frank Hackey Jr., Shawn Hackey (Taiya), Larry Goines (Leslie), Tina Hackey, Barbara Lyles and Sharon Jackson (Mark Harris); her close friend Johnny Disney; and her godson Durrell Thomas. She is also survived by her pet dogs; and a host of cousins and friends.
