It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Gail Harrison of Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Brenda may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Lewis and Mary Lewis; and her former spouse Jerry Wayne Hamrick. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Harrison; her children, Darron Hamrick, Timothy Hamrick and Susan Hamrick; and her brother George Lewis (Irene) of Myersville, MD. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stauffer Funeral Home-Frederick (1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Stauffer Funeral Home (1621 Opossumtown Pike, Frederick, MD 21702).
