He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Snowden and Geneva Snowden; his siblings, Sarah Boyd, Catherine Davis, Arthur Snowden Jr., James Snowden and Russell Snowden; his son Michael Bowie Jr.; his grandson James Grice Jr.; and his siblings-in-law, Patsy Snowden, Josephine Snowden, Shirley Snowden and Willard Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne Snowden; his children, Bonita Grice, Erica Randolph (Jerome) of Frederick, MD and Joel Snowden (Stephanie) of Norfolk, VA; his grandchildren, Jerica, Nikevia, Cherelle and Joi; his great grandchildren, Jacob, Trinity, Judah, Caleb, Noah, Jeremiah, Noelle, Josiah and Aeryn; his nieces, Joyce Smallwood, Tammy Davis and Wendy Snowden; and his close friends, John Disney, Frank Saunders, Joe Simms, Tony Jackson, Marvin Gibbs, Billy Frazier and Don Shipley. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
