As Carolyn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carolyn. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Watson; her niece Jennifer McCoy; her great-niece Ashley McCoy (Chris Gaile); her great-nephew Brandon McCoy (Devin McCoy); Samuel, Bodhi and Kendall.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Rollins Life Celebration Center (330 Catoctin Ave, Frederick, MD 21701). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 12:45 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mount Olivet Cemetery (515 S Market St, Frederick, MD 21701).
She asked that in place of flowers, donations be made to No Kid Hungry, St. Jude, or the Capital Area Food Bank.
