Charles L. Chipley Jr. Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Charles L. Chipley Jr. of Frederick, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 29, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Esther Chipley (Wiles); his parents, Charles Lawrence Chipley, Sr. and Lillian A Chipley (Jenkins); his son Charles L. Chipley III; and his grandson Tyler J. Hoefs.

He is survived by: his children, Kathy C. Lynn (Mickey), Lori A. Burch (David) and Michael A. Chipley; his daughter-in-law Lisa Lightner; his grandchildren, Christine Coble, Daniel Lynn, Joshua Lynn, Jessica Pellegrino, Gia Chipley, Vivia Chipley and Lilia "Sailor" Chipley; and his great grandchildren, McKenna Corbett, Derek Lynn and Lars Coble. He is also survived by his cousins; and numerous friends.
