He was predeceased by: his father William Jesse; his siblings, William (Gloria), Fletcher, Reola (James) and Willie; and his in-laws, Mildred Gorham, Larue Cash and McKenzie Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Pauletta Reed Sheppard; his daughters, Jaimee of Philadelphia, PA, Dariah and Trinity of Seattle, WA.; his brothers, James (Mary) of Augusta, GA and Marcello Bennett (Loretta) of Savannah, GA; and his in-laws, Emunda Reed of Durham, NC, Erwin Reed (Theresa) of Wilson, NC and William Reed (Sheila) of Albany, GA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and cherished special friends.
