With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Curtis L. Powell Jr. (Frederick, Maryland), born in Waynesboro, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 28, 2025 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis L. Powell, Sr. and Janice Waneta Powell; his sisters, Pamela Willard and Diana Stultz; and his brother-in-law Bill Plumley.

He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Plumley, Kay Sims (Mike), Patty Sweeney (John), Susan Crouse (Eddie) and Dave Powell (Donna); and his brother-in-law Ronald Stultz. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made in his memory to Pioneer Baptist Church and mailed to the address above.
