He was predeceased by: his parents, Urban W. Moore, Sr. and Kathleen M. Moore; his wife Patricia Moore; his granddaughter Dawn Moore; and his siblings, Urban Moore, William Moore, Allen Moore and Marilyn Etzler.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel J. Moore, Jr. (Lisa), Patrick A. Moore (Tracy), Urban W. Moore (Tami) and Julie A. Stephens (Robert); and his siblings, Kathleen Hall, Patricia Meunier, Ora Gaver, Delia Coulby and Thaddeus Moore. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
